University declared as Berks County’s Who’s Who for undergraduate and adult education

University adds local financial executive & Bernardine Sisters; honors emeritus members

Magazine: As Work Study environmental educator for the Holleran Center for Community and Global Engagement’s South Reading Youth Initiative, Ayers-Fisher designed curriculum and taught environmental science to third, fourth and fifth graders in the Reading School District.

Magazine: A state government leadership program reflects Alvernia’s educational mission to “foster ethical leaders with moral courage” and the O’Pake Institute’s mandate to support that effort in the school’s curriculum and the broader community. 

Humility, passion, service work, mission, a calling, faith-based and blessings define the work of alumni nonprofit leaders.

Magazine: Time and again, Alvernia alumni tell us they fell in love at the university. During the fall, several of them returned to campus to tell their stories for Alvernia Magazine.

The dynamic extension of main campus showcases Alvernia’s student-centric approach to learning.

This event will include information and sessions for students and families to understand the transition from high school to college.
