Magazine: A state government leadership program reflects Alvernia鈥檚 educational mission to 鈥渇oster ethical leaders with moral courage鈥 and the O鈥橮ake Institute鈥檚 mandate to support that effort in the school鈥檚 curriculum and the broader community.聽

Magazine: A neurological clinic, operating within the university鈥檚 Physical Therapy Department, was staffed by six third-year doctoral students and supervised by Dr. Marcia Thompson, assistant professor of physical therapy, as part of coursework for Advanced Neurologic Physical Therapy Practice.

Moving from access to success
Magazine: Launched in 2013, Alvernia鈥檚 Reading Collegiate Scholars Program provides up to 10 full, four-year scholarships to promising Reading-area students each year while also providing tutoring, mentoring and college application assistance to hundreds more in the inner-city school district.
